Attacking midfielder Sylvester Simba of Dreams FC has his sights set on clinching the FA Cup title to secure them a slot in Africa.
Despite their setback in the Confederation Cup campaign, where they reached the semifinals in their inaugural participation, the “Still Believe” lads are determined to bounce back.
Dreams FC faced a formidable challenge against Zamalek, experiencing a heavy defeat that dashed their hopes of making history.
Nonetheless, Simba remains resolute, emphasizing their determination to win the FA Cup for the second consecutive time. In an interview, he affirmed their commitment to overcoming obstacles, targeting victory over Soccer Intellectuals to advance to the semifinals and ultimately secure the FA Cup trophy.
“We will go back and focus on the FA Cup. We will make sure we eliminate Soccer Intellectuals to reach the semifinals and make sure we win the FA Cup so that we can go to Africa again”
Simba believes their newfound experience will pave the way for success, ensuring a smoother journey in representing Ghana in the Confederation Cup next season.
“Now, we have experience so once we win the FA Cup and represent Ghana in the Confederation Cup it will be easy for us” he said.
