Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC midfielder Richmond Lamptey says the team will win their next game at the WAFA park in Sogakope against Accra Lions FC.
The former Inter Allies FC player has promised the fans of a win this weekend as the Porcupine Warriors chase their first win in four outings so far this season.
“As a player for Asante Kotoko, I know a defeat is not a good thing for the club, so the fans should expect a win against Accra Lions.”
He recently returned from injury, acknowledged the less-than-ideal results the team has achieved thus far in the season.
“We are in a difficult moment, but I will urge the supporters to keep supporting us, and I know we will never disgrace them.”
