Nations FC coach Frimpong Manso has pledged that his team will give their all when they take on Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Manso, who previously led Bibiani Gold Stars to their first-ever Ghana Premier League title, acknowledged the challenge posed by a Kotoko side currently struggling in the league. The Porcupine Warriors have claimed just one win in their last five games and sit sixth, while Nations FC occupy eighth position.
“We will try and go for a win. No matter the situation, we have to do that. We know it’s going to be very tough; we need to work above ourselves if we want a win against Kotoko… and we are going to do that,” Manso told the club’s media team.
His intimate knowledge of Kotoko adds intrigue to the encounter, but the coach insists his focus is squarely on motivating his players. Kickoff at Baba Yara Stadium is scheduled for 3 pm.
