As speculation mounts over Ghanaian prodigy, Mohammed Kudus’s future, a close source to West Ham owner David Sullivan drops a bombshell, hinting at a potential release clause that has caught Liverpool’s attention.

Despite Liverpool’s interest, West Ham supporters can breathe easy for now. Even if Kudus were to join the Reds, the Hammers would retain his services for a while longer.

Kudus’s meteoric rise at West Ham has attracted Liverpool’s gaze, sparking rumors of a potential move. Since his arrival from Ajax for a steal at £38.5 million, Kudus has dazzled on the field, drawing admiration from top clubs.

Liverpool’s interest in Kudus intensifies amid speculation surrounding his contract. While the details remain shrouded in mystery, reports suggest a release clause could facilitate a future move to Anfield.

Uncertainty looms over Kudus’s contract situation, with conflicting reports about a potential release clause. However, regardless of contractual nuances, West Ham remains in control of their prized asset until at least next summer.

Sean Whetstone, a trusted source with ties to West Ham’s hierarchy, offers insight into Kudus’s contract saga.

“There has been much debate whether Hammer Mo Kudus has a release clause with club sources staying tight lipped on the subject,” Whetstone said.

“But West Ham fans should not despair as release clauses only activate after the third transfer window following their signing.

“Meaning a release clause will not be active until July 2025 if one actually exists in the case of Kudus.”

While Liverpool’s pursuit looms large, West Ham retains leverage over their star player until the timing is right.
