West Ham United’s manager, David Moyes, remains resolute in his approach and is urging the club’s supporters to have faith in his carefully devised strategy concerning the handling of Mohammed Kudus.
Despite mounting pressure from fans to include the emerging talent Mohammed Kudus in the starting lineup, Moyes has maintained his stance by utilizing the 23-year-old as a substitute in all five of his appearances.
Moyes’ decision regarding Kudus received validation during a pivotal moment in their recent match against Newcastle United. The Ghanaian star entered the game from the bench and made history by scoring an 89th-minute equalizer. This crucial goal secured a point for the Hammers in their hard-fought 2-2 draw at the packed London Stadium.
Regarding Kudus, Moyes commented, “He (Kudus) will be in the team for years to come so we are not in a huge hurry. The team is getting good results (so there’s no need to change at the moment). But he can play a big role in the future.”
Kudus has indeed been making a notable impact for West Ham United, not only in the Premier League but also in the UEFA Europa League, where he has already notched two goals.
