Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Tariq Lamptey is in a buoyant mood after Ghana beat South Korea on Monday afternoon at the Education City Stadium in Al Wakrah.

The versatile player was deployed as the right-back for Otto Addo’s team as they beat the Taegeuk Warriors in their second group game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.

“What a win, thank you for the amazing support.
Now time to prepare for the next one”, he Tweeted.

Two goals from Mohammed Kudus and a goal from Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu secured a hard earned 3-2 win for the Black stars team.

Ghana takes on Uruguay in their last game in Group H at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar with a win sealing qualification to the next stage of the competition.
