’When the fans were singing and dancing you could know it was the spirit of Ghana in the stadium’ – Wollacott

Ghanaian international, Joseph Luke Wollacott says he felt the spirit of Ghana at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi during Ghana’s game against Nigeria last month.

He said during the warm-up session and when the fans were singing and dancing he could know it was the spirit of Ghana in the stadium.

According to him it  was a nice feeling at the stadium and he Sometimes feel if it’s it’s him playing for Ghana.

He kept a clean sheet in the game against Nigeria in Ghana in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff.

“I remember after the warm-up when the fans were singing and dancing you could know it was the spirit of Ghana in the stadium”, he told Happy Fm.

“It was a nice feeling at the stadium. Sometimes I feel if it’s me playing for Ghana”, he added.
