Lionel Messi won his 8th record Balon d’Or on Monday night extending his lead over his rival Cristiano Ronaldo to 3.

Ghana was represented by the astute Journalist,  Micheal Oti Adjei who voted for Erling Haaland as his first choice. The eventual winner Lionel Messi was his second choice and French superstar Kylian Mbappe was his 3rd. Manchester City ace midfielder Kelvin De Bryune was his 4th pick with our rivals Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen of Napoli his 5th.
