Ghanaian forward Abdul Aziz Yakubu ended the Chinese Super League season on a high as his side secured a 4-3 win over Changchun on Saturday morning.
The 24-year-old scored one and assisted another in the away win over Changchun as his side clinched a seventh-place finish on the league table.
The home side took an early lead after just seven minutes played in Saturday’s encounter but Aziz was on hand to draw his side level 10 minutes later.
Yiming Liu put Wuan in front nine minutes later before the Ghanaian played a role in extending the lead to two after he set up Chao He.
The game went on to end 4-3 with Aziz being substituted in the 73rd minute of the encounter.
The win means Aziz’s side end the season in seventh place, 12 points off league leaders Port.
The Ghanaian netted 15 goals in 23 appearances for the club in the Chinese Super League and provided one assist.
