Wilson Burton Asare, the biological father of Ghanaian international midfielder Clifford Aboagye, has been appointed as the second assistant coach of Asante Kotoko.
Joining the technical team of the Porcupines, led by head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and first assistant coach David Ocloo, Wilson Asare brings his expertise to the team as they prepare for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
With a CAF License B coaching qualification, Wilson Asare boasts a wealth of experience in the domestic topflight, including leading Inter Allies to their first title in 2010.
Asante Kotoko’s players have reconvened to initiate preparations for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign. Their pre-season activities will kick off on August 8, 2023, at Beposo in the Ashanti Region.
