Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club, have strengthening its squad with the capture of former Ghana U23 striker Samuel Obeng Gyabaah in a bid to reclaim domestic and continental glory.
Moroccan giants have swiftly completed negotiations with the Ghanaian forward who before the move who plying his trade in Portugal with Casa Pia.
Obeng, 27, is a proven attacker with experience in European football, having previously played in Spain with Real Oviedo, and Huesca before making the switch to Portugal.
The former Ghana U23 player has one goal in 11 appearances in the Liga Portugal this campaign.
Obeng brings valuable experience and a goal-scoring instinct that could prove decisive for the club’s ambitions in the Botola Pro League, the Throne Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Wydad’s winter transfer activity has been nothing short of impressive.
Meanwhile, Wydad have also landed the services Bolivian forward Ramiro Vaca, one of their top transfer targets.
