After the statements of the president of La Liga on the extension of Mbappé at PSG, UEFA has rebuked Real Madrid and Javier Tebas.
Kylian Mbappé chose to extend his contract with PSG last weekend, after several months of reflection and hesitation.
While many observers predicted the French striker will sign for Real Madrid, he preferred to stay in his country a few months before the 2022 FIFA World Cup. A choice that made the president of La Liga react publicly, denouncing the practices of the PSG.

In an interview with the BBC, Aleksander Ceferin said:
“It’s not Real Madrid or anyone else who is going to tell Uefa what to do. They are outraged from a certain point of view and, as far as I know, their offer was similar to that of PSG. So it’s exactly the same situation and I’m really tired of these accusations without any concrete basis.”
