Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United, Kingsley Osei Bonsu has said that the criteria for rating the performance of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is not to use the Black Stars.
The GFA Executive Council Member affirmed that it will be unfair to use Black Stars struggles to conclude that they have failed.
Kingsley Osei Bonsu stressed that GFA responsibilities goes way beyond the Black Stars and therefore cannot be judged with only one criteria while there many others.
“People assess the performance of the GFA based on the performance of the Black Stars and I don’t think is the best because if I am an administrator, I do what is expected of me as far as putting the Black Stars into good shape as far as a pending match is concerned,” he asserted.
“If they go to the field and they are not able to perform, it’s difficult to tell me that as an administrator I didn’t do my best so I find it difficult to accept that blame being put on the administrators.”
Meanwhile, Kingsley Osei Bonsu has been re-elected and will serve another four years on the Executive Council.
