Accra Great Olympics spokesman Saint Osei has described Asante Kotoko’s reported interest for Olympics star midfielder Razak Kasim as a “joke”.
Several media reports indicate that the Black Galaxies midfielder is a top target for the Porcupine Warriors but the Olympics official has tossed cold water on those reports.
“The reported interest from Kotoko for Razak Kasim is a joke. They will never get him. When we wanted their striker Ibrahim Osman, what did they do?” Saint Osei quizzed on Ezra FM 94.1 in Kumasi.
“They (Kotoko) quoted some outrageous figures just to indirectly tell us they will not offer us the player and so why are they coming to us for our player. That is a joke for me. Razak is not for sale.” Saint Osei concluded.
When he was asked whether Kotoko has officially tabled an official bid for Kasim, Saint Osei responded : ” They have not made any official offer to us but even if they do so, it will still a joke offer from them because we will not sell him to Kotoko”.
