Ghanaian midfielder, Eric Esso, has given a heartwarming farewell to Ashanti Gold fans following his move to betPawa Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.
Esso was a key cog for Ashanti Gold for some time but the club has been demoted to the Division Two League following match-fixing allegations which left the player in need for a new challenge.
Hearts of Oak approached him for his services and he accepted, making him one of the latest additions for the Phobians as they seek to win the league title once again.
“I’m grateful to the entire supporters, management and the playing body of Ashantigold SC for the opportunity to serve this great family.
You will forever remain an important part of my success story
I am equally elated to join the phobian family. A club I have cherished over the years. I look forward to more success together. Phobia! Phobia!! Phobia!!!
❤️💛💙🌈,” he said on his Facebook account.
Esso has signed a three-year deal with Hearts of Oak.
