Emerging young forward Ernest Nuamah continued to impress with his scoring prowess for Ghana, finding the back of the net in the friendly match against Liberia at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Following his goal in the previous match against Central African Republic in Kumasi, Nuamah once again demonstrated his scoring ability with a superb goal on Tuesday.
Nuamah displayed remarkable skill and composure as he expertly controlled a pass from Nicholas Opoku and calmly slotted the ball past the Liberian goalkeeper, threading it through the goalkeeper’s legs. This marked his second consecutive game in which he scored for Ghana.
His outstanding performance in the previous match, where he scored a pivotal goal in Ghana’s comeback victory over the Central African Republic, earned him a starting position in the friendly against Liberia. He certainly made the most of this opportunity before being substituted for Jordan Ayew.
Prior to this starting role, Nuamah had made two appearances for the Black Stars, both times as a substitute.
With his impressive scoring form and consistent performances, Nuamah is undoubtedly making a strong case for securing a permanent place within the Ghanaian national team.
