Ghanaian born in Italy Justin Kumi has been invited into the Italian U19 national team for the UEFA Euro U19 championship qualifiers this weekend.
The young attacking midfielder plays for both the U-18 and U-19 youth teams of Sassuolo where he’s played 24 times on both sides so far this season for the Black and Greens.
The Italian of Ghana descent played for the Italian U18 national team.
He was in a dazzling form in two friendly matches against France as a member of the U18 side which had led to his inclusion in the U19 team.
Italy will play Germany on 23rd this month in their third Group B match in
A group which also includes Belgium and Finland.
He’s still eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the senior national team level.
