Central Africa Republic head coach, Raoul Savoy predicted doom for the Black Stars after Ghana’s qualification to the 2023 AFCON.
The Black Stars on Thursday, September 7, qualified for their 10th consecutive AFCON tournament with a 2-1 victory over Central Africa Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Despite taking the lead and losing the game, Raoul Savoy who believed they didn’t deserve to lose predicted doom for Ghana in future tournament.
“Your next AFCON will be like the last one,” Raoul Savoy said at his post match conference.
He added that, “Of course yes, I think today we played far better, and with quality of players you have and you cannot do this kind of show, we have small players, most of them are playing league two and I think we are far better than you guys.”
Central Africa Republic finished third in Group E behind Angola who picked the second spot in the group with 9 points.
