For their qualification in the quarter-finals of the 2021 African Cup of Nations, the players of the national team of host nation Cameroon have each received a nice jackpot.
Per Camfoot.com , Sources speak of 9 million CFA francs given by the government to each player. This brings the total to about 55 million CFA francs (over 93 000 USD), the amount of bonuses already paid to the Indomitable Lions.
That is: the attendance bonus (445,000 francs); the participation bonus (30 million francs); the qualification bonus for the round of 16 of the competition (15 million CFA francs); and that of the quarter-finals (9 million).
To these bonuses must be added a bonus of 50 million CFA francs offered by Fécafoot to the entire team.
This amount will increase if the team progresses to the next stages of the tournament. Cameroon play against Gambia in a highly anticipated match on Saturday.
