Dreams FC defender Philemon Baffour has joined his Black Stars teammates in Cameroon for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The 2021 Caf U-20 Afcon winner did not travel with the team to Cameroon because he was in Portugal to seal a move to Rio Ave.
However, he has finally landed in Cameroon and started training with colleagues ahead of Ghana’s second group C game against Aubameyang’s Gabon on Friday.
The four-time AFCON champions suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Moroccans as they kick off their campaign with a defeat on Monday afternoon.
The Youngster is hoping to get some playing time against Gabon on Friday as he trains hard to impress coach Milovan Rajevac ahead of the must-win match.
