Ghana skipper Andre Ayew is confident his charges will record a victory against Aubameyang’s Gabon on Friday in the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The four-time AFCON champions suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Moroccans as they kick off their campaign with a defeat on Monday afternoon.
Having failed to help Ghana win the big game, Ayew remains optimistic he and his colleagues will return to winning ways’ against Gabon.
The Al Sadd star posted on Instagram with the caption: “Not the result we expected but will bounce back on Friday.”
Ayew wasn’t at his quality best in the game against Morocco and hopes to lace his book with a superlative performance against Gabon.
