Former Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah has stated that no team should be underrated at the World Cup stage.

He said this ahead of Ghana’s crucial battle against Portugal in Group H.

Earlier in the competition, Japan and Saudi Arabia have recorded shock results, which has piqued the interest of Appiah, who led Ghana to the 2014 World Cup.

“I always keep saying that at the World Cup level you have to make sure that all your matches won’t be easy. None of the games will be easy. You have to prepare your mind and make good preparations so that you can win against any of the teams you play. That’s the thing we should look at. You shouldn’t underrate any of them because they can surprise you,” Coach Kwasi Appiah told Ghanasportspage.com.
