Ex Kwara United head coach Samson Unuanel has blamed Super Eagles head coach Augustine Eguavoen for the team’s inability to qualify for the world cup in Qatar.
Unuanel maintains Eguavoen was tactically bankrupt against Ghana as the Black Stars booked their place at the Mundial with a 1-1 in Abuja.
“It’s unfortunate that the Super Eagles will not be playing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after failing to beat Ghana today. I expected so much from the players but they failed to up their game.” Unuanel told Complete Sports
“There was no urgency from the players and Eguavoen also failed to switch tactics when it was obvious that the Black Stars seem to have taking over the midfield.”
