‘2022 World Cup presents us the opportunity to constitute Black Stars with good young players’ – Didi Dramani

Ghana’s assistant coach Mas’Ud Didi Dramani believes the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar presents a Ghana the opportunity to constitute the national team with players born in 2000 and after.

The FC Nordsjaelland development coach says this world cup gives Ghana the opportunity to reconstitute its football that is why they are bringing in good players born in the year 2000 and some experience players who are even 28.

Furthermore, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC coach also stated that results comes automatically when you put the right measures in place for players at the national team level.

Didi Dramani,on Oyerepa FM:
“This WC presents us the opportunity to reconstitute our football that is why we are bringing in good players born in the year 2000 and some experience players who are even 28. Results comes automatically when you put the right measures in place.”

“We cannot speak about Qatar 2022 World Cup without the recognition of CK Akonnor and Milovan Rajevac, they played a role in our qualification, we the current technical team only came in at a point to intervene”, he stated.

Ghana qualified for the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year at the expense of their arch rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria in March.

Ghana will make their fourth FIFA World Cup tournament after playing at the Mundial in three consecutive tournaments in 2006, 2010 and 2014 respectively before missing out in 2018.

Ghana have been paired in Group H alongside European giant Portugal, former World Champions Uruguay and South Korea.
