Ghana target Callum Hudson-Odoi has started training with English Premier League giant Chelsea FC ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The 22-year-old English-born Ghanaian has been out with injury and did not finish the 2021-22 English Premier League campaign on the field having to spend his time on the sidelines.
Odoi played 15 times in the league scoring one goal and providing two assists as well as one crucial assist in the 2021 Club World Cup tournament.
He was expected to be out of Chelsea due to lack of enough playing time under manager, Thomas Tuchel.
However, the young attacker has resumed pre-season training with teammates for the upcoming season.
He’s one of the players contacted by the Ghana Football Association to switch nationality to play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.
