Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo may not honor the call up for his country’s 2022 world cup qualifier against Ghana.
The towering centre-back has missed his club’s last four games because of injury and he is not expected to recover any time soon.
“Omeruo’s case, Nigeria has already called him up but his groin problems could keep him out of the national team. In this scenario, he could also be absent against Las Palmas precisely because of these physical problems,”a report on as.com indicated.
The former Chelsea owned player could be replaced in the Super Eagles squad by the close of this weekend.
