The 2023/24 edition of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is all set to commence from Friday, October 27 to Sunday, October 30, 2023.

This prestigious league features twenty clubs, with an equal distribution of ten clubs in each of the Southern and Northern Zones, making it an elite competition for women’s football.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the current title holders, have their eyes on an extraordinary feat as they aim to secure a record third consecutive championship. On the other hand, Hasaacas Ladies from Sekondi are determined to reclaim the title they lost to Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the last two seasons.

In the Northern Zone, Fosu Royal Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy have earned their spots to compete, while in the Southern Zone, Sea Lions and Jonina Ladies have qualified for the upcoming season of the League.

This prestigious Women’s Premier League owes its success to the generous sponsorship of Malta Guinness, with additional support from Max TV, Nasco Electronics, Betway, Woodin, and Decathlon. Their contributions have played a pivotal role in elevating women’s football and providing a platform for talented players to showcase their skills and passion for the sport.
