The Black Stars initiated their training sessions on Monday, in preparation for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola on Thursday, 2023.

As head coach Chris Hughton geared up for his debut game, captain Andre Ayew supervised eight players who practiced at the Accra Sports Stadium, according to Joy Sports.

Among the players were Joojo Wollacott, Inaki Williams, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Paintsil, and newcomer Ransford-Yeboah.
The remaining players are expected to join the team on Monday evening, in time for Tuesday’s training at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

While the rest of the squad stretched their muscles and kicked the ball around, Joojo Wollacott, who suffered an injury before the World Cup last year, received specialized training from goalkeepers’ coach Richard Kingston.
