Karela United will hope for a second successive win for the first time this season when they welcome new boys Basake Holy Stars to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday.
United ended a six-game winless run in the League with an important 2-1 victory at home against Berekum Chelsea last time out (W1, L4).
They’ve amassed 17 points and are currently occupying the 16th position in the table, having scored 10 and conceded 16 in 19 rounds of matches. They head into the game as the weakest home performers in the league.

Basake Holy Stars make long journey to Karela United with just a single victory in the last five league matches (W1, D2, L2). The Aiyinase lads are 11th in the table with 23 points, having scored the third most goals (20) and conceded the second joint most goals (21). They are the fourth weakest away side (D1, L4) and will be eager to secure their second victory away from home on Sunday.
Karela United are playing Basake Holy Stars at home in the league for the first time since the Aiyinase lads gained promotion into the Premiership this season.
