Dreams FC continued their impressive resurgence with a 2-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Tuba Astro Turf, marking their fifth consecutive victory in all competitions and their third straight home win in the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Karim Zito’s side did the damage in the first half, scoring twice to take full control of the game. Razak Salifu opened the scoring in the 35th minute, before Izdeen Mohammed doubled the lead just before the break with a well-timed finish.
Dreams expertly managed the second half, defending their two-goal cushion to keep Gold Stars at bay and secure another valuable three points. The result also ended Gold Stars’ three-game unbeaten run, handing them their first defeat in four matches.
Despite the setback, Gold Stars remain in the title hunt, just two points behind league leaders Asante Kotoko, who were held to a draw by Heart of Lions on the same matchday.
Dreams FC have now climbed to 8th on the table with 36 points, and will next travel to face Medeama SC in another tough encounter. Gold Stars, meanwhile, will look to bounce back when they host Premier League newcomers Young Apostles in their next fixture.
