Austin Eguavoen, head coach of Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles, has announced a 35-man squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Ghana, focusing on top domestic talent.

Working closely with his technical team and league coaches, Eguavoen emphasized a thorough scouting approach in selecting players from Nigeria’s domestic league. “We’ve put in significant effort, attending games and scouting extensively to choose the best talents,” Eguavoen shared with Brila.net.

The squad features key players such as Rivers United’s Ohisodumeya Osagie in goal and defenders like Wisdom Ndom from Akwa United and Ifeanyi Onyebuchi from Enugu Rangers.
