Bibiani GoldStars CEO, Kwasi Adu, is optimistic about his team’s potential to clinch the Ghana Premier League title, noting that their commitment and performance will determine their ultimate success.
Currently sitting at the top of the league table after nine matchdays, GoldStars have showcased remarkable consistency, boasting the league’s best defensive record and an impressive 13 points from five home games. With a three-point lead over second-placed Nations FC, they remain unbeaten, recording five wins—including a decisive 1-0 away victory over Hearts of Oak—and four draws.
Adu acknowledged the rising discussions around their title chances but remained cautious, emphasizing that their ambitions hinge on sustained effort and performance throughout the season.
“Every Ghana Premier League team’s vision is to win the title. If we win, it will bring prestige to the club,” Adu shared with Asempa FM. “This is our fourth season, and if the opportunity to claim the title arises, we’ll seize it. We’ll continue to work hard, and if our efforts merit the title at the season’s end, we will embrace it.”
GoldStars face Young Apostles away in Wenchi next week as they look to maintain their lead and build on their strong start.
