2025 AfconQ: Ghanaian FIFA referee Daniel Laryea to officiate Tunisia vs Gambia clash

Ghana’s Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea has been appointed as the center referee for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Tunisia and The Gambia, scheduled to take place on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 20:00 at Stade Olympique de Radès.

He’ll be joined by a team of experienced officials, including: Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey (Assistant I) and Roland Nii Dodoo Addy (Assistant II) as Charles Benle Bulu serves as Fourth Official.

  • Match Commissioner : Joel Amarante Ramos Barros from Cape Verde
  • Referee Assessor : Latré-Kayi Edzona Lawson-Hogban from Togo
  • Security Officer : Imad Eddine Mahamdioua from Algeria
  • Broadcast Venue Manager : Ahmed Khemiri from Tunisia

Daniel Laryea is a seasoned referee with extensive experience in international football. His notable appointments include:

  • 2020 African Nations Championship (Cameroon)
  • 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Cameroon)
  • 2023 Cup of Nations (Cote D’Ivoire)

He has also served as Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in high-profile matches such as:

  • Raja vs Al Ahly (CAF Champions League)
  • 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.

Laryea’s expertise and experience make him a trusted official in top-level competitions.
