Black Stars coach Otto Addo is set to reveal his squad today for Ghana’s final two matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The team faces a challenging path to secure qualification for the tournament in Morocco following a shaky start to the campaign.
The Black Stars will first travel to Luanda to take on Angola on November 15 at Estádio 11 de Novembro. Just three days later, they will host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium for their last qualifier on Matchday Six. The squad announcement is scheduled for 12:00 PM at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Conference Room.
Ghana’s journey began with a 1-0 defeat to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and a 1-1 draw against Niger in Berkane. A goalless draw at home to Sudan and a 2-0 loss in Libya left the team in a precarious position in Group F, where they currently sit third with only two points, trailing both Angola and Sudan.
To qualify, Addo and his team must secure wins in both upcoming games while hoping Sudan loses its remaining matches.
