Henry Asante Twum, Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), is of the view that the Black Stars‘ winless run in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers is not normal.

“It is very worrying as a country and for the playing body, but I know the technical team and the players are determined to do their best in the last two games,” he added.
Ghana opened their qualifiers with a 1-0 defeat against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium before a 1-1 draw against Niger in Berkane.
In a doubleheader against Sudan, the Black Stars to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium before losing 2-0 in the return leg in Libya.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will wrap up their qualifiers with a game against Angola on November 15 at the Estadio 11 de Novembro, before their final game against Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium.
To qualify, they win the games and hope Sudan lose their final games against Niger and Angola.
