Medeama SC head coach Nebojsa Kapor has voiced his disappointment after his team’s loss to Dreams FC, following a first-half penalty by Joseph Esso that clinched Dreams FC’s first win of the season. The defeat left Kapor and his team feeling frustrated.
In a post-match interview, Kapor expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance, saying, “We are very disappointed. We are sorry because we couldn’t find our energy. We didn’t portray our performance, and that makes me very unhappy. We will find a way to come back stronger.” He emphasized the need for improvement and the importance of carefully reviewing their mistakes.
“After defeat, emotions are too high, so after the match we have to go and analyze our mistakes and know what we can do better. These are things we need to calm down and find,” Kapor explained, stressing the value of reflecting on their performance.
Kapor also noted the lack of energy from his players during the match, which he believes played a major role in the loss. “We will identify our problems and improve. Today we didn’t find our energy, and that didn’t help us,” he added.
Currently, Medeama sits seventh in the league table with 15 points and has gone winless in their last three games. As they prepare for their next match, the team aims to regain confidence and momentum to improve their standing in the league.
