Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has also been included in Ghana’s squad for the World Cup qualifiers, marking his comeback after a lengthy injury layoff.
The 21-year-old missed several months of action due to an ACL injury but has bounced back strongly this season in the English Championship. Fatawu has already scored two goals and registered an assist, showcasing the flair and creativity that made him one of Ghana’s brightest young stars.
His return provides the Black Stars with more attacking options as they prepare for crucial fixtures against the Central African Republic and Comoros. With Ghana needing just four points from the two matches to qualify, Issahaku’s ability to unlock defenses could prove decisive.
Coach Otto Addo will be banking on the youngster’s energy, pace, and eye for goal to give the team a sharper edge in the final third.
