Chad’s head coach, Raoul Savoy, has tipped Ghana to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, citing their strong position in Group I.
The Black Stars lead the group with 16 points from seven matches, and Savoy believes failure to qualify would be a “big failure” and “professional failure.”
“It will be a big failure if Ghana fails to qualify because they are now in a good position, and it will be a mess if they fail to qualify from this group because I think the other teams are not ready for this World Cup,” Savoy said as quoted by Ghanasportspage.com.
“I tip Ghana to qualify over other teams; if not, it will be a professional failure.”
Ghana drew 1-1 with Chad on Thursday in N’Djamena, but a win against Mali in their upcoming match would keep their World Cup hopes alive.
