Group I is wide open as favourites Mali and Ghana prepare to meet in MD3 in Bamako for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Mali head coach Eric Chelle has announced his 23-man squad to face Ghana and Madagascar in June.

The Eagles’ squad is headlined by RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara, Mohamed Camara of AS Monaco and Aliou Dieng of Al Ahly.

Sekou Koita returns to the team after recovering from a series of injuries.

The biggest omission is Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder, Yves Bissouma who misses out due to injury.

Mali will host Ghana in Bamako and travel to Madagascar in MD3 and 4 respectively.

Check out the full list.
