Ghana coach, Chris Hughton, anticipates a challenging game against Comoros in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
In the Black Stars’ 1-0 win over the Barea at Baba Yara Stadium, Inaki Williams secured victory in the 95th minute after a lackluster first half.
Looking ahead to the match against Comoros on Tuesday, Hughton stressed the importance of maintaining momentum from the improved second half.
He emphasized that the Comoros game won’t be easy due to the challenging pitch conditions.
“Everybody thinks the Comoros game will be an easy game for sure not the pitch we will play on will be a difficult pitch they are used to playing on it,” he said.
“All you look for is to get some momentum from this. We all hope that the momentum from the second half will be taken into Comoros,” he added.
Kickoff for the upcoming match is set for 19:00 GMT on November 21 at Stade de Moroni.
