Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has linked up with his national team colleagues in camp ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR).
Bukari, who recently made the switch from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade to Austin FC in Major League Soccer (MLS), missed the initial training session on Friday due to his transfer.
However, his arrival now ensures that 25 out of the 26 invited players have reported to camp, with only Alexander Djiku still absent.
Djiku, the defender from Fenerbahce, is anticipated to join the squad later due to an arm injury sustained while representing his club.
The Black Stars will resume their training on Saturday, June 1, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. Subsequently, the team will embark on their travels next week to face Mali on June 6, followed by a home fixture against the Central African Republic on June 10.
Currently positioned fourth in Group I with three points, Ghana’s upcoming matches carry significant importance as they strive to bolster their position in the standings and maintain their aspirations of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
