U20 Women’s World Cup: Ayub Khalifa names squad for Ghana clash

Uganda national Under 20 women head coach Ayub Khalifa has named her squad for this month’s World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

The East African’s walloped Kenya 10-3 on aggregate before seeing off South Africa to set a date for a two leg clash with the Black Princesses with the first encounter set for January 22nd.

The winner on aggregate of the two games will face either Ethiopia or Tanzania at the final qualifying phase to the tournament that which is slated for Costa Rica later this year.

“We have today started our preparations for the matches against Ghana. The girls came back in good shape. I believe the time we have between now and the first game will be enough for us to prepare and get the results we want,” Ayoub stated after naming his squad.
