Danlad Ibrahim has signed a two-year extension with Asante Kotoko, meaning he’ll stay at the club until 2024, the club has revealed.
The 19-year-old was an integral part of the side which took home the league title during the 2021/22 campaign with his brilliant command of the defensive unit and his shot-stopping ability.
The club has shown faith in Danlad’s capabilities to lead the team from the goalpost despite bringing in other goalkeepers during the transfer window.
Danlad is currently the first choice goalkeeper of the club and that of the Black Galaxies and both outfits will hope that he puts up his best in the coming years.
