Ghanaian forward Abass reacts to Chaves big win against Gil Vicente

Former Ghana U-23 attacker Abass Issah, has reacted to his team’s massive victory in the Portuguese top-flight on Sunday night.

FC Chaves posted an emphatic 3:1 victory against Gil Vicente at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.

The Ghanaian international started the game and played 72 minutes before being subbed for Juninho.

The visiting team threw an early blow as they opened the scoring through Spanish forward Francisco José Navarro Aliaga.

However, Jaoa Mendes scored a brace and Jony Arriba added one to seal a commanding 3:1 home victory for Chaves.

Abass after the match took to social media to celebrate the victory, stating that the focus will now be on the next game against Benfica.

The 24-year old forward, has played three games so far for his new club Chaves in the 2022/23 Primeira Liga.
