Sporting CP midfielder, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has stated that Andre Ayew is a crucial part of the Black Stars.
Ayew is currently the captain of the side and is expected to lead the team in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Issahaku, who is also a member of the team, supports the captain.
“Andre Ayew is very important to us. We have so much belief in him” he told Ghanasoccernet said after Wednesday’s Champions League clash between Sporting and Tottenham in London.
“The unity is so much, so I think with the team we are going to be good. We are going to make it out of the group.”
Fatawu has scored one goal for the Black Stars so far.
