Ghana’s gifted Midfielder great Daniel Kofi Kyereh has picked up a fresh and horrible injury on Thursday evening, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The Ghana International, Kofi Kyereh tore his cruciate ligament in training and will be out for the rest of the season.
In Thursday’s training, Kofi Kyereh twisted his knee in a duel. An examination in the Freiburg University Hospital resulted in the diagnosis of a cruciate ligament rupture.
An operation is to follow in the next few days. The attacking player will no longer be available this season.
He was at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar with Ghana’s Black Stars when Ghana failed to make it out of the group stages.
He’s been phenomenal for club this season in both the UEFA Europa League and Germany Bundesliga.
