Newly promoted team Tamale City FC on Saturday afternoon beat Kumasi-based club King Faisal FC to a pulp at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

The Citizens whitewashed the Green and Whites outfit in the Ghana Premier League week 30 clash with a resounding 4-0 win to inch closer to safety.

Sammy Akɔtɔ Osae scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the opening exchanges with a sweet strike after just 14 minutes of the match.

In-form Ghanaian attacker Sampson Eduku scored the second goal for the home team to put them in a comfortable 2-0 lead after just 20 minutes of the encounter.

Two minutes after the half hour mark, Osae Akoto grabbed his brace to put the game to bed after 32 minutes with the away team left wobbling on the field on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Godknows Dzakpasu on the 54th minute, that is nine minutes into the second half of the match made it 4-0 as the hosts ran away with a comprehensive and a comfortable win on the day.

King Faisal are left deep inside the relegation spots as the host scored four goals in two consecutive games after beating Hearts of Oak SC 4-1 in their last match at the venue.
