On Monday, April 15th, the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) held a meeting with the players, technical team, and officials of Accra Hearts of Oak.
The PFAG has been visiting various clubs to discuss player welfare, contracts, and other related issues, and it was now the turn of the Phobians to host the PFAG officials.
Accra Hearts of Oak confirmed the meeting on their official Facebook page, stating, “@PFAGofficial this morning held a meeting with the playing body, Technical team, management and Board of Hearts of Oak to discuss issues relating to their career development and educated them on activities of the union.”
The PFAG delegation, consisting of Yussif Chibsah, Thomas Boakye-Agyemang, and General Secretary Tony Baffoe, engaged with the players and officials of Hearts of Oak.
Vincent Sowah Odotei, a member of the club’s management, acted as their spokesperson during the meeting.
The PFAG aims to foster a strong bond between professional footballers, their clubs, and the Football Association (FA).
Their objective is to protect and support the interests of the players, while also equipping them with transferable skills for their post-playing careers.
