Ernest Nuamah, the promising Ghanaian attacker, has garnered attention as he was ranked by CIES Football Observatory as the most valuable left winger among U-21 players plying their trade in non-top-five European leagues.

At just 19 years old, Nuamah’s market value stands at an impressive €15.4 million, securing the top spot on a list featuring ten talented young players.

During the previous season, Nuamah played a crucial role for Nordsjaelland, making a significant impact in the Danish Super League with eight goals and four assists towards the latter stages of the competition. His exceptional performances did not go unnoticed, as he was honored with three individual awards: the Danish Superliga Player of the Year (as determined by the league’s jury), Spring Best Player (as voted by Superliga head coaches), and Player of the Year (as chosen by Superliga players).

His outstanding form also earned him a nomination in the 100-man shortlist for the prestigious 2023 Golden Boy Award.

Nuamah has continued to impress in the current season, starting with a remarkable hat-trick in FC Nordsjaelland’s 4-1 victory over Viborg in the opening match of the 2023/24 Danish Superliga.

Not only has he secured a spot in Ghana’s U-23 squad, but his standout performances have also earned him a call-up to the senior national team, the Black Stars. In June, he made his debut for Ghana in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations match against Madagascar.

Rumors have been circulating that French club PSG has expressed interest in signing the young talent, especially if Kylian Mbappe decides to leave the club. Such attention from a top club speaks volumes about the potential and talent that Nuamah possesses.
