Ghanaian goalkeeper Richmond Badu has been promoted to first team of Belgium Jupiler Pro League side KV Oostende, the club announced.
The 21-year-old was promoted after spending four years with the junior teams of the club and becoming a standout performer for the youth team.
The towering goalie who stands at 1.90m will fight for a starting place in the senior team after showing glimpses of brilliance in the team’s pre-season training ahead of the 2023-24 this month ending.
He has been registered for the upcoming 2023/24 Belgian Jupiler Pro League campaign, where he will have a chance to prove himself on the pitch and gain a chance to be in goal for the club.
